FSUK GOLF SECTION WHS RULES 2023
Club Golfers –
Club golfers will be players who are members of affiliated golf clubs, hold a CDH number and have a world handicap index. (Igolf members to be the same as club golfers)
Club golfers will manage their own handicap index at Fire Service Golf Events, this to include local, regional, and national events. When entering a National Competition and registering you ‘MUST’ submit your card into the ‘My England Golf’/ Igolf app’ Non England players ‘will take their cards back to their golf clubs and submit them’ The committee will carry out random checks, anyone winning a prize will be automatically be checked, if their card as not been submitted, they and their team will be disqualified, prizes/trophies will be awarded to the next in line. The player will not be allowed to enter the event the following year.
WHS index to be provided at registration for National Events. Failure to provide evidence will fall into three stages:
1 No penalty for no Fire Service golf evidence on first occasion, club scores should be available to see.
2 To play off scratch on second occasion of no evidence.
3 Unable to compete at the next National fire service event.
Evidence can be in the form of Golf Union APP/Website, Club APP/Website, Paper copies will be acceptable.
Daily course rating will be used to calculate index. If not available course rating from the scorecard will be used.
Society Golfers –
Society golfers will be players who are not members of an affiliated golf club.
Society golfers will be managed by Fire Service Golf Section Secretaries using Handicap Master Silver package. This system will be available to all sections.
To enter FSUK Golf Section Competitions Society Players must have a handicap index registered on Handicap Master Silver package.
FSUK player index’s will be taken from FSUK Handicap Master System.
Minimum 54 holes registered as per club golfers; this will give them a handicap index.
Daily course rating will be used to calculate index. If not available course rating from the scorecard will be used.
